Vote for your favorite canine Relay participant
On April 10th, 27,000 people in our community will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite Relay fundraising dog!
ELIGIBILITY and RULES
All the dogs registered on all the Canine Relay teams are currently eligible to be in the Top Dog contest sponsored by our Canine Relay Partner, The Mercury.
- On April 3rd, the 40 dogs that have raised the highest fundraising totals with money online combined with fundraising community donations will be entered in the Top Dog photo contest.
- If there is a fundraising tie, the dog that raised the tying amount first will be chosen for the contest.
VOTE FOR THE TOP DOG
On April 10th, the TimeOut magazine printed by The Mercury and delivered with the newspaper, will host the Top Dog contest. The Mercury newspaper will feature a cover story about the Canine Relay, Bark For Life and will direct readers to the voting ballot in TimeOut. The center spread of the April 10th edition of TimeOut will be: photographs of the top 40 Relay fundraising dogs with their name and a check box for voting. This page IS the ballot to use to vote for your favorite Top Dog.
- Each dollar sent in with a checked photo on the ballot, represents 1 vote for the chosen dog. Ex: $1.00 with the checked photo on the page = 1 vote. $50.00 with the checked photo on the page = 50 votes.
- The dog who receives the most dollars with the checked photo will be the Top Dog winner of the contest
- The ballot will only appear one time - in the April 10th edition of TimeOut.
- The Mercury will have a Voting Booth at the Canine Relay, Bark For Life on April 19th. Ballots and a ballot box will be available to vote again that day.
- All donation/votes close on April 22nd
- The winner of the TimeOut Top Dog contest will be a featured article in the Pottstown Mercury. A photo and story about the people who are behind their Top Dog will appear in The Mercury on April 27th.
