There are 5 ways to be involved with the 2008 ACS CRFL “Bark For Life” of Pottstown:
Registration for Teams & Individual Canine Participation:
- Registration Forms are available to download online or to pick up at Team Captain meetings
- Fill out a form for each canine team participant
- Give the $10 registration donation & registration forms to the Canine Team Captain to turn in at TC meetings for canine team members.
- Canine registration forms request the cancer survivor status of the canine owners for the April Canine Relay and the June RFL

1. Create A Canine Team:
- A canine owner agrees to be the Team Captain of a canine Relay team. The Team Captain cannot already be registered as a participant in the human relay. This person is responsible for update information and team communications. The TC will receive a RFL t-shirt and will register with the canine team for a $’10 donation
- A team name for the team is chosen
- CRFL team participants are the canines. The owner registration information is the canine contact information
- Each canine registers for a $10 donation to the ACS
- Each canine team participant is expected to contribute a minimum of $100 to their team
- 10 – 14 canine participants make up each canine Relay team (+1 TC person)
- Registration on the CRFL team includes a bandana - (small, medium, large sizes are indicated on the registration form)
- The CRFL online fundraising & team project fundraising deadline for Top Canine Fundraising acknowledgement will be 10am, Sunday at the RFL event.
- All CRFL donation checks are tax deductible when made payable to the ACS
- CRFL team donations will be accepted through August to contribute to the 2008 ACS RFL fundraising total.
- Canine registration can be online or by registering with a registration form at monthly TC meetings
"Canine Family” Registration:
- A $10 registration donation will apply per canine participant on a Canine Family registration form
- Each Canine Family participant receives a bandana
- Canine Family participants fundraise together to raise a minimum of $100
- 1 photo will represent the Canine Family registration for online fundraising
- 1 fundraising donation total will be credited to canines participants registered as a Canine Family
2. Join A Canine Team:
Individual canine participants are welcome to join an existing CRFL team online, with a registration form, or as a community participant on the day of the ACS CRFL
3. Canine Participation without joining a Canine Relay Team:
People who are already registered and participating on Relay For Life teams and would like to have team fundraisers involving their dogs are welcome to join the fun! The funds raised will be credited to their own Relay team.
- Neighborhood dog shows, contests, dog product sales, and youth dog walking or dog sitting projects, are all fun ways to energize a team and to raise additional funds for the American Cancer Society
- Canine care giving and cancer survivor stories offer heartfelt comfort and healing that the canines bring to all of us involved with the people/Relay and the Canine Relay For Life

. Sponsorships or Donations
- Contributions can be made to canine Relay participants on line and by checks made out to the American Cancer Society regardless of online registration or form registrations.
- New corporate contributions made payable to the ACS on behalf of the Canine Relay For Life will be acknowledged both at the CRFL and the June Relay For Life of Pottstown.
- Contribution levels and benefits are listed in the Relay corporate sponsor brochure.
5. Canine Relay For Life Community Registration at Riverfront Park
- Canine registration on the day of the ACS CRFL is $25
- Registration on the day of the CRFL includes a bandana
- Canine registration forms include the cancer survivor status of the dog owner
