The Luminaria Ceremony is the soul of Relay for Life. At dusk, we quietly remember those whose lives have been touched by cancer. Candles in white bags line the track, each bearing the name of a loved one. In the soft glow of the candlelight, we reflect on the courage and strength of all who are affected by cancer.

NEW THIS YEAR - Personalize your luminary bags! After filling out the luminaria form and giving your donation, you are free to take your bag/s home with you to personalize them for the loved one/s you are honoring or remembering. You may decorate with pictures, poems, or just a hand-written note to make your bag more special. The bags are available for pick-up at all team captain's meetings by anyone interested in personalizing their bags. We ask that if your bag/s are to be alphabetized for the track or the garden, you have it back to us by the May team captain's meeting. Please remember to include both the first and last name of the person you are honoring or remembering on the label portion of the bag so it can be properly alphabetized for proper placement at Relay. Reflective Garden

A garden for personal reflection will be designed to display Luminaria in honor or memory of loved ones.

Orders for for this garden will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until the garden reaches capacity. This specific location needs to be designated with your luminaria order by placing a mark in the appropriate box on the Luminaria Order Form .
