day – students make a donation to wear
a hat to school. One school raised $1000!!

Flowers for Mother’s Day –
ask a florist to donate flowers to sell in school
for Mothers Day.

Add a dollar to a sporting event –
with the school’s approval, charge an extra
dollar for sporting events or offer the attendees
the opportunity to donate a dollar to your team with
the purchase of their ticket.
- Car
wash – ask a local store or school
if you can use their parking lot and wash people’s
cars.
- Dress
down day – this is a good idea if you
wear a uniform to school. Charge $3-$5 to dress down
or in theme.
- School
Dance – have a local DJ donate his/her
time and system for a school dance. All proceeds will
go to your Relay for Life team.
- Art
Contest
– take theme of Relay and create a “work
of art” with that theme in mind.

School Carnival – host a Relay
for Life carnival
- Tournaments
– volleyball, wiffle ball, basketball, dodge
ball, etc.
- Rock/Paper/Scissors
Tournament – March Madness Style!!
